Our Story

 

Tanglewood Beverage Company was started by Ro Tam in 2013 inside of Either/Or's tiny 300 square foot cafe. The original idea for making a Ginger Spiced Chai came from her love of fresh ginger and from the spices used in her parents Chinese restaurant growing up.  Coming up with interesting tea and spice combinations soon became a bit of an obsession which evolved into three more teas: Turmeric Thai Tea, Lavender Fog, and, holiday favorite, Hot Buttered Yam. Though we have grown, we still make each bottle by hand, one pot at a time to ensure you get the best cup of tea every time.
